What happens in a customer’s mind that turns them from “I’m interested” to, “Yes, I’m going to buy that”? How about marketing to customers in a way that makes them feel great about purchasing your product?

In Crack the Customer Mind Code, author and direct marketer Gary Hennerberg covers 7 points that take a customer from “Interested” to “Yes”. In this talk, Gary explains 2 of the 7 pathways that help a prospect become a buyer:

  1. Stimulate emotion.
  2. Calm the mind.

Gary shares ideas for ways to get your brand message out to an over-stimulated customer under the spell of “FOMO” – fear of missing out, to create urgency around your product, and gives examples of “feeling” words that help stir a customer’s interest at a deep, brain level.

His suggestions for ways to calm the mind as a way to unblock decision making are really helpful. And we love his idea list for ways to bring feelings of warmth to your color palette, and your copy, that help bring a customer to “Yes.”
