Is anyone printing a mini-catalog?
I looked at printing mini-catalogs years ago when I ran catalog production for L.L.Bean, but decided to not go this route. I didn’t think there was enough space to justify the time it would take to pull together the creative.
Now here’s an article that talks about a mini-catalog with a wrap-around cover that seals with booger glue – avoiding the cost and opening issues of wafer seals. This means the piece mails as first class, but at a economic rate. It still only allows for a small amount of product, but I like the idea better now – especially as a web-driver. Here’s a link to the article in Multichannel Merchant.
If you are printing a mini, we’d love to hear how it is doing!
