Welcome to the hunt—now go have fun!

“Play is nature’s training ground for the hunt.”

I think that line is somewhere in every nature show I have ever watched. (Queue the cute lion cubs wrestling.) For customers “the hunt” is finding the perfect item at a price they want to pay, then bagging it and taking it home to their dens. For catalogers “the hunt” is finding those customers and selling them something to take home to their dens. You are actually working in tandem with your customers.

If you are trying to energize yourself and your team for the annual holiday hunt, how can you turn it into a game? How can you make it fun for the customer? How can you make it fun for your team?
