Are Catalogs on a Death March?

Really? Is anyone still asking this question? If you are working in the Omni-channel world I’m sure you almost smirk when hearing this question. It’s no secret catalogs simply work. Has the role of a catalog changed? Absolutely. While it still acts as a transactional tactic it’s role as a brand engagement tool is undeniable. Over the last 5 years, many of our clients have tested new theories in their mail strategy and creative presentations. We’ve seen best practices evolve and morph but clearly, the catalog still plays a huge role in the overall success of a Omni-channel brand.

You can only imagine my delight when I read an article posted by Kurt Salmon, confirming what we’ve been testing and proving for years. Anyone who uses a catalog in their mix should read and pass along the link to this article. Smirk on, ye mighty catalogers!
